This Giving Tuesday we are announcing our End of Year Dance Party: Shake It Off, 2024.

When we said we would celebrate our community more than ever, we meant it! Join us as we move our bodies and celebrate leaving 2024 behind, dancing into the future!

For centuries joy has been used as a form of resistance. Audre Lorde famously said, “Joy is an act of resistance” because joy can give us the needed "energy for change".

So, join us! Let's dance 2024 away.

School Programs: Help bring diverse voices and perspectives into classrooms to strengthen students' empathy, cultural awareness, and social understanding. Your support makes schools more inclusive.

Community Work: Support programs that educate, connect, and address barriers to equity and inclusion. We're expanding to build safety networks for targeted communities and need your help more than ever.

BIPOC Board Leadership Training: Help increase representation and amplify diverse voices on local Boards of Directors, fostering leadership that reflects our community.

Women of Color Network: Sustain and celebrate a growing network of over 200 women of color, creating opportunities for connection, mentorship, and empowerment across the Central Coast.

Climate Equity Work: Prioritize climate resilience and environmental justice for marginalized communities. Your support ensures this vital work continues amid federal climate funding uncertainties.

SLO Equity Podcast: Amplify our reach by supporting new episodes of the SLO Equity Podcast, sharing local DEI initiatives and highlighting community leaders in action. You know we’ll need inspiration in the years to come.
